About Me
I am the CEO/Founder of Animist. My first product, a note-keeping service named Animist Notes, was released in January 2008. I single-handedly developed and still maintain (as CEO) Worldisround, a website for sharing travel photos (more than 6,000,000 photos and counting). I am also a Meisner-trained actor, a productivity geek, and I have this radical notion that businesses should exist to make peoples' lives better, rather than making the most money possible by any means necessary.
Resume
I have a traditional resume, of course.
But resumes are really for employees and contractors.
Good consultants, no matter what specializations they
have, rely on their intuition, curiosity and people skills.

Notable accomplishments
Animist Notes:
A Web-based note-keeping service, the first of several Animist
productivity solutions.
Worldisround: I single-handedly implemented and maintain this travel photo-sharing business. The code, the system administration, customer support, database administration, scaling to handle millions of photos, marketing strategy, advertising sales. More than 6,000,000 photos and 100,000 registered users. Operating costs of only $1300/month for the equivalent of a $1,000,000/month dot-com. Noel: An open source HTML-style text compiler. Noel was originally designed to reduce the complexity and redundancy of Web design, but it has also become an invaluable tool for any text management work include content management systems, code generation, configuration files and central configuration systems. Projects in the pipeline
EsperFonto: adding a back-end and re-architecting this
popular font-selection website
Matrix: database migrations/refactorings for Java/Hibernate; with corporate funding I would turn this into an open-source project ZenGTD: the Zen of Getting Things Done, an online GTD 'trusted system' for personal productivity. This will probably be closely tied to the Animist services. Associations
